Gentle bossa novas to swing jazz, subtle danceable sambas to songs from the Great American Songbook or even Strictly Ballroom Rhythms from Cha Chas to Rumbas, Foxtrots to Quicksteps. The bands' repertoire covers romantic love ballads through to up tempo-dance numbers and Rat Pack tunes and they can play jazz at low volume, easy listening levels.
Requests are generally not a problem and they can almost guarantee to include any tune in their style with advance notice. Their dress code is flexible from a black tie jazz group in tuxedos, lounge suits or something more casual by arrangement with clients.
The size of the group is flexible to meet any budget and can be from 3 musicians (the "Classic" Jazz Trio of Piano, Double Bass and Drums) up to seven which can include saxophone/clarinet, and trumpet/flugelhorn with male and female singers perfroming well loved swing jazz and 'Rat Pack' classics from the 1930's, 40's and 50's and including many of the songs popularised by Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Sarah Vaughan One of the most popular combinations is a quartet - the classic trio with added saxophone or trumpet/flugelhorn - and this is ideal for delivering smooth background music for receptions, guests arrival, wedding breakfasts, cocktails or dinner jazz.
The musicians are all highly experienced and accomplished professional level players based on the south coast.
